“One can get anything if he is willing to help enough others get what they want.” –Zig Ziglar, Motivational Speaker and Author
With the ever changing landscape of International business moving so fast, innovation and growth are key focuses for both startups and corporates. But there are pros and cons to both sides…
Corporates often have bigger budgets and more resources, connections and experience; but are often forced to change more slowly due to outdated structures, processes and the ever watchful eye of stakeholders.
For Startups, you often have small and agile teams that know how to come to together to get things done quickly. You are innovative and resourceful and look to solve problems in the world; but you often struggle with funding in the early stages and can sometimes make mistakes due to lack of experience in one or more areas of business.
But what if the two came together to create a partnership that’s built on the best of both worlds?
Here’s How It Works:
This limited number event will follow the traditional ‘speed dating’ format, where a limited number of startups and corproates will sit down together for 5-6mins.
During this time, each will share two things:
1. What they do as a company
2. How they believe they could help the other (ie. how the startup could help the corporate and vice versa).
After 5-6mins, the corporates will rotate to the next table, and a new converstion begins.
If either party feels they would like to continue the conversation and talk in more detail about potential partnerships, there will be an hour or so of informal networking time at the end, including some food and drinks.
Ticket price includes some food and 1 drink, cash bar available.
Limited to just 5 startups and 5 corporates – co-founders/ colleagues/ small teams welcome to purchase and attend together.
**This event will be held predominantly in English, English speaking Japanese (even if only a little!) are welcome.
